IMF: the US dollar accounted for 59.15% of the known global reserves in the third quarter

  According to the quarterly global foreign exchange reserve data released by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the share of the euro in the global reserve in the third quarter was flat at 20.48%.

  The share of RMB in global reserves rose to 2.66% in the third quarter. The share of sterling in global reserves in the third quarter was flat at 4.78%. The share of the yen in global reserves remained at 5.83% in the third quarter.

  The Canadian dollar's share of global reserves fell to 2.19% in the third quarter. The Australian dollar's share of global reserves fell to 1.81% in the third quarter.
